Watching Tv On My Monitor

    I dont think the x800 has a tv tuner so i was wondering is there a way for me to connect my cable box to my pc or something like that so i can watch it? Yes i have a tv, but my pc is like right next to my bed and my tv isnt and crap... thanks for the help...

    Have you got a TV in/out plug in your computer?

    If you have the correct hard ware all you need is a cable to go from your TV to your PC.

    im getting windows media and i have a x800 GTO

    it has a s-cable, the 7 pin, DVI and VGA

    You can get an external tv box with a VGA output. Just google it or check newegg. :)

    you are going to need to get a tv tuner card, because u are using an ATI gfx card i would recommend getting an ATI TV Wonder card, they will function well together

    I believe ATI makes one of the better tuner cards available.
    I think this is the most recent version.

    well he doesnt need a tuner card. The external tv box will do the same thing, and often has better quality then any tuner.

    While either will work the ati internal tv tuner card will be nicely hidden and give you better quality imho.
