I'm only 16 and I have came up with a great invention in my opinion... the only problem is that I don't have enough money to get my invention started.(The last company I talked to they said that it would cost me around $900 just for them to make the prototype) So I was curious is anyone actually knew a company or website that help younger people get started in inventing. Also my invention is not a toy so a lot of those websites that are for kids that build sites don't help much.
Can't say that I do, since i've never actually thought about going public with inventions. I just keep them to myself. I guess you could do a little bit of research, google some invention sites and see what you can some up with on them, and see if they give any direction for you. But good luck with whatever it is that you're going to try to build!
Your either going to have to make your own prototype, comes up with sketches and information, and the like and present them to real companies that are involved in manufacturing similar products and they might like your idea.
maybe talk it through with your family and see what they think and maybe they will lend you the money to start it
gimme your idea, i'll make a few million then send you the 900. no, just in interest, what field is your invention in, i'm guessing some household gadget. but that would be interesting in case of the pricing.
Sorry, but im not going to tell you what it is. It would be pretty damn cheap to make and a promise in making a lot of money off of it. I have told my family and they like the idea. Its just the fact that they along with me don't trust anyone. It would be different if I was rich, and could waste money, but unfortunately I come from a family that doesn't have much money I'm coming up with inventions day by day. Not as big as the first I thought of, but I think they are very helpful in the everyday life.

wow. i likes his build. but mine is better then yours innuendo . no man, i'd say risk it. there is a chance you come out rich. and then again you could starve to death cause you cant afford food. risk it!
Well see the way I got my computer was saving up for a very long time took me a while. Its not an everyday thing. Thats about the nicest thing ive ever gotten.
