Microsoft Zune.

Does anybody have any information about upcoming updates for the Zune? Either hardware or software updates.

There is a new Zune to be rumored coming out to compete with the Ipod shuffles...Its a smaller and thinner version of the zune

I'm more interested in the 30GB version... I currently have an iPod Mini (totally old-school) and its just about bit the dust. I'm sick of iPods and I'm lookin for something bigger and fresh. Right now however there are a few flaws with the Zune and I'm just interested in finding information about when a next version will come out. I dont want to buy a 1st gen version just to have another, better, version come out right after.

 

You should really consider trading in your Zune for a Creative Zen Vision M (big and fat too). Zune has a bad DRM lockdown; you can only play ZuneStore DRM on them or DRMless. Other DRM like Napster, Yahoo Unlimited, Rhapsody cannot be played. Even Microsoft's PlaysForSure is not acceptable on the Zune.

It's no big deal, I have very little DRM protected music anyways. And I dont like the Zen very much.

 

I have 8000+ songs on my computer, every song is on the Zune. You think this DRM thing is such a big deal? No, it is over-proportionized.

I've got a Zune, and I absolutely love it. The software takes a little getting used to, as far as syncing music, but other than that, it's amazingly secksi. I love it.

Pshhh, c'mon Tinx. Don't wait till it comes out in Canada, there is a magical little website that we've come to know and love. It's called ebay.

Just ask your parents to use their credit card, and then pay them the cash when you get the zune.
