I've had a linksys wireless router for a while now, almost a year. I recently decided to attempt to 'secure' it because it wasnt working before for some reason. So, this time it works. I set the network key and my laptop can now securely connect. However, in addition to the Wireless router I also purchased a Wireless gaming adapter for my PS2. It cannot connect to the network anymore, does anyone know how/where I can provide the network key in order for the network to allow the adapter to connect? Help is appreciated.

Is there anything in the manual, or on the manufacturers website?

I don't understand what you mean by that. It worked fine until I secured the network, since it now requires a password to access it. I was just wondering if their was a menu or something that I need to enter the password into to allow it to connect.

remember when you opened up the box for the linksys adpater? it came with a disc to program it for the 2 forms of use? Basically connect your adapater using a ethernet wire to either a open port on your router or w/e and a power outlet, pop that CD and follow the instructions.

Put in the SSID and enable the WEP protection. Unless you are using something other then WEP to secure your network.

I think you have closed some ports when you secured everything and the ps can't connect properly..
