well i first looked at what ram the cards had... they all have GDDR-2. so i couldnt cross any off cause of that. then i locked at the core speeds and the memory speeds, and the best overall combo (gpu core speed+ mem speed) was that one i linked u to.

it also has 512mb ram on it which will come in handy if you play video games or do a lot of c4d work.

it's a low powered graphics card, it wouldn't be able to play games at setting which would need 256mb yet alone 512mb.

and the answer to your question would be none of the above

this would be the most powerful AGP card I know of, it's about 3 times the card of the x1650pro

the second one if you can't tolerate an open box

and this would be the best bang/$

with a little bit of overclocking, it's about half-2/3rds of the x1950pro
    enjoy

    none which are economically feasible.

there is a 512mb version of the x1950pro but whether it's worth the money over the 256mb version is up to debate, there is probably only a 2% performance boost in typical scenarios.

how much amperage do you have on the 12V rail on your power supply?

    the x1950pro has a 30A recomendation.

If money isn't a problem, I'd suggest a motherboard upgrade (that has PCI-Express), and get a 7600GT/7900GS. But that is just me. I don't know your cpu type, or your RAM type, so I can't say for certain.

x1950pro is more powerful than the 7900GS, it's better compared to a 7900GT.

    And sometimes even 7950GT class.

Still, they are much more expensive then the PCIe version.

If you want the powerfullest AGp graghpics card on the market, get a Gainward Bliss GF 7800GS 512MB AGP. Its the best AGP card money can buy.

how would I figure that out? I can't find any specs for my comp. to let you know its a crappy eMachine.

I'm just getting a better card for the meantime so it can handle games for a while.

so you guys suggest a motherboard upgrade, a power supply upgrade and a video card upgrade?

oh and to let you know, the highest price I can go is around 200$.

here is my comp specs. http://www1.shopping.com/xPF-eMachines-W30...dToHyphens=true
