I have both, and i must say....i was suprised to see how fun fable (lost chapters) was.....i played once as a hero, doing good deeds, and the next time as evil (still havnt finished as evil yet). Oblivion is super detailed, extremely fun battles, dark creepy caves, and in my opinion the best rpg. what do you think?
I'm still playing Fable: TLC, and I find it to be my favourite RPG so far. I don't think I'll like the combat system in Oblivion, the first person kind of turns me off from Oblivion. But in a head to head, I do think that Oblivion will win for it's insane graphics and gameplay. But I'd say that playing both will fill that RPG void of yours.
lol, does this question even need to be asked? Oblivion by far more gameplay(hell, it's expansion is going to have more gameplay then fable did with TLC), Oblivion has superior graphics, more interactive and better in just about every way you could want in a good RPG.
I haven't played Oblivion, but I think Fable is a good-ish game. It is way too short even with trying to do everything, and it becomes too easy too fast. It isn't really har da t all. There is a mod you can donwload though, that makes it slightly more challenging.
I loved playing Fable (not lost chapters). And i have to say i made 4 different characters on the game. Oblivion iv made every type of character i could and played each maybe 2 weeks long. Love both of the games.
Oblivion is much better, just because it has much more to do. The fact that the graphics are better is because Oblivion is a newer game. Fable realy ha much more of an ending. You can play Oblivion on and on without getting bored. And if you do get bored, just start a new character with totaly different skills. dont get me wrong, i liked Fable, but it just can not compete with such a marvalous game as Oblivion.
