well i play counter strike source and i get 80-150 fps and my ping is around 20-50 averagly 35. But what i experience is that i keep getting choke or loss. 1-30 choke and loss at the times ( not always but every few minutes or so for few seconds ). What can couse this ?
could be the server. When I was server admin I put the tick upto 100, but people started getting like 80 choke, when I put it back down to 66 tick the choke went down to 0...
maybe your rates try putting them on rate 20000 or 25000 cL_cmdrate 67 cl_updaterate 67 then u will average around 66tick and maybe then not have the choke n loss i am not to sure what choke is but loss is when the server or u are losing packet information make sure u are playing on servers under 100 latency
Rates can also cause that problem, try that, server rates may not be the same as yours, but more often thatn not they're the same.
