How Often Do You Defrag?

i check it once a week but i only defrag when it says i should though

 

i do i defrag every two weeks, because i'm always downloading ---- then trashing stuff that i dont need anymore. Diskeeper really does the job

P.S: Those of you who haven't done a defrag every or saying you don't have that much time, thats just a bull---- excuse. If you don't have all the time in the world, do what xelink had set-up. Which it defrags when its on idle, now tell me that doesn't take more than 10min to set up.

 

Your supposed to at least defrag once a month as ive heard but i do it about 3 times a year cus i only do it when i feel my computer is lagging and not at the correct speed.

Which one allows you to set it to defrag while your idle?

I use O&O Defrag. I've got it set to defrag every Friday when I'm out.

 

You say that but ive never defargged and formatted 2 years, My pc runs fine and its not really a top spec computer, Ive had vista on my other hard drive for a month, Not defragged that and it runs fine.

I do it once a week, because I have my systems on 24/7/365. I use Diskeeper or Perfect Disk. They both work great.

yea i usually do it when i go to sleep or when i leave for work.

 

I usually do it when install games that uses a lot of space and when I'm doing other stuff
