What Would You Say About This Build ?

    what do you think of this and how would you improve it keeping samilar cost ?

    Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, Socket 775, 2.4 GHz, 1066MHz FSB, Conroe Core, 4MB Cache, Retail - £189.75

    2GB (2x1GB) CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 4-4-4-12, EPP - £164.08

    250 Gb Seagate ST3250620AS Barracuda 7200.10, SATA300, 7200 rpm, 16MB Cache, 8.5 ms, NCQ - £53.57

    Asus P5N32-E SLI NF680i SLI, S 775, PCI-E (x16), DDR2 533/667/800, SATA II, SATA RAID, ATX - £141.46

    RAM is a bit pricey for what it is(proMOS) but other than that, it's not too bad.

    I didn't look very far ro very hard, but i did find this

    same specs and most likely the same ICs too.

    given that they have a warranty to 2.3V and 800mhz @ 4-4-4, they're probably micron D9(the good stuff)

    I want to say d9GMH, but can't be certain.

    I beleive the ones I use have better ICs, the reason why those are recommended a bit is because in the US, they are cheaper.
    also, the 6400C4 uses proMOS, I can guarantee it.

    overall its a good setup, you can prolly find sum stuff cheaper tho.

    another thing, do you need SLI?

    if not, cut to a cheaper board.

    Was wondering about that too. If you are planning on using DX10 when everything has support etc. You could make do with a 8800 card now, or use a worse one. I dunno.
