I suggest you buy the best graphics card you can with your money, because it will last you for years.

Well, I have an AMD Anthlon. It was top of the line type of stuff 3 years ago.

AMD computers do work pretty well. You might want to upgrade the video card though. I had to upgrade my video card and put like 256 more RAM in mine.

    Here are my suggestions.

+ Get an Athlon64. I have the 3500+, and it runs faster than the Intel 3.4 Extreme Edition.

+ Get at least 1GB of memory. 2GB is a lot, and expensive. But 1GB is necessary.

+ For your graphics card, get at least a GeforceFX 5700 or the Radeon 9200. You will need it.

Athlon64 -hmmm..well if you don't mind gettin programs for it! and also im not sure what the windows situation is with that..

^^ thats kindof true, but i'd suggest getting 2 gb OR making sure you can upgrade to that later.
get at least a GeforceFX 5700 or the Radeon 9200. You will need it.
^^ very true, but i'd go with Radeon 9600 or above or a Gforce 4 or above, just to be safe.

    1. Athlon64 works with all 32-bit programs currently in existence, and is programmed to work with all future 64-bit programs. All operating systems function perfectly on it, including Windows XP 64-bit Edition, which I have.

    2. Naturally, you should have room to expand, always. But 1GB is definitely good enough for right now.

    3. GeforceFX is better than Geforce4. LOL
