Well many female celebrity's do this as you might already know....This isn't anything new but i wanted to know some peoples views on it.

Mine is that i think its sad that people throw up just not to gain a pound. Its also very bad because a poser (celebrity) who poses for new clothing styles just recently about 1 week ago went to the hospital for this, Your body automatically eats and depends and thinks on throwing up in a few min...i hope no-one here does this ;)

The people that throw up are called Bulimics. They eat alot of food and throw it up to stop weight gain. Anorexia is people that choose not to eat and eventually grow some form of mind block that reduces their appetites. Both are eating disorders and they ussualy run side by side ( ussualy anorexic people are also Bulimics).

I think it is rediculous that people do that. I mean once they are considered anorexic it is very hard to go back to your normal eating habits unless it is treated by a profesi0nal. I hate how celebrities endorse drugs and eating disorders.

I was very nearly anorexic when i was in school, imagine a 14-15 year old who only weighed 4 and a half stone, not a nice sight believe me. I stopped eating when i was about 13 when people were calling me fat and ---- (outside and inside school, people who thought they were really something when they just wasnt). Anyhow i hardly ate anything, i went really skinny and became a little ill, eventually i thought 'who the ---- are they to say i am fat, i am happy with my own body so why should i do stupid ---- like this just to please them' etc. My stomach by that time had shrunk an awful lot, my mum noticed me not eating and had to force feed me aswel as my boyfriend, he told my mum to make sure i ate something.

My stomach is still rather small but i can eat a whole elephant now if i wanted to, lol. I just love my food.

Peer pressure is on us all the time and some of us do some stupid ----..meh.

Celebrities do not make things any easier for the younger generation nowadays, kids will look up to their idols and want to be and look just like them which is why many kids become anorexic, bulimic. I think it looks absolutely disgusting and does not give a good example to the kids, celebrities are forever competing with other celebrities and they always have to be that little skinnier than the other.

I mean just look at Victoria Beckham, she wanted to go to the USA because she would not be judged about her size, she is a size 0 and is the first british celebrity to be that size, she has made it her goal to be that size and she is proud of it. It is nothing to be proud of and nothing she should flaunt over, she looks disgustingly skinny and her face...omg..i just wont even comment on that.

Also pictures of celebrities dont help much on this matter either, kids see the pictures in magazines/papers etc and think 'wow she is gorgeous, i wish i looked like her' but they dont realise that celebrities etc are airbrushed most of the time to make them look better and to take all their blemishes etc away.

Its disgusting and both celebrities and us should think about what we are doing to our bodies, it isnt good for anyone.

props for getting past that phase in your life, i'm sure it wasn't easy. although i don't have any personal experiance my mom runs an anorexia clinic where we live, and some of the stories are just heartbreaking(although technically it is illegal for her to be telling me them).

Yeah it was hard as i was so close to being anorexic but i forced myself to eat, i would not let them win. It was my body and i would do whatever i wanted with it, i dont care how i look now, if people dont like it, tough ---- for them because i couldnt care less. My boyfriend stuck with me through everything and we are still together now :D Thank you :)

I agree, i talk to alot of people who have eating disorders or anything else they would like to talk to me about, whether it be in real life or on here, i do my upmost best to help them out and give them the best advice i can. There are so many people out there who have no-one they can talk to or dont want to talk to their family/friends so they turn to someone they dont know on the internet and tell them everything (if they have known them long enough and can trust them).

I love helping people out as i have had some difficulties in my life also as most of us have.

how is anerexia a Pandemic. it is a choice that is mad it isnt like aids. it can be cured like many things. but the new ide to be so skinny is really the media takin over or veiws on wut is good or not if ur fat ur fat it is encoated in your dna to be fat. its all genetics you cant change it u can delay gainin weght but as soon as u stop it comes right back on.

It's really sad that some celebrities turn from at the top, to down the bottom, because of skinniness and anorexia.
