my brother got his vista for free(Ultimate Edition{the one with the black CD case})yea...since he is a comp engineer and a university student. Its not tht good actually

I need to upgrade my comp in order install Vista.

    Requirements:
40gb hard drive and atleast 15gb free space
512mb ram (but it runs very slow recomemded 1gb or higher)
    need a DVD rom
*a good graphics card would help but not needed( I need to upgrade this) :P

1)Readyboost(I like this one the best)
If you put a USB and suppose your ram is only 512mb and the USB memory is 1gb.It allows the USB to share its memory with the comp.So if you put the USB your RAM will be 1.5gb (pretty kewl)

    2)Entertainment
This edition is same as home eddtion but with the icon and the pop up tech.(nothing especial)

every OS can have viruses made for it. EACH AND EVER SINGLE ONE.

it's up to the end user to f' themselves over.

More peope use windows so there are more people to do stupid things.
    simple as that.

also windows is built on ---- but that's another story.

All windows does is PATCH up their problems. They will release updates, and will just Cover Up the problem, with another file, then another file on top of that, and so on. Mac actually FIXES, or RE-CODES everything to fix their problem. Much more productive.

don't kid yourself, M$ has started from "scratch" many times.

they just need to retain some crap so that their OS can be compatible with other apps.
