I go almost 6 days a week. Heres my stats( I know ----- stuff but Ive only been lifting for 2 months) 5'9'' around 180lb, going to 165-169lb ----started----now---- Squat 125lb 200lb Bench 95lb 155lb Clean 125lb 165lb Deadlift 135lb 175lb
I have luckily inherited a fast metabolism from my father, i dont go to the gym anymore (used to back in year 11, 3 years ago). now i just work and its pretty physical. As an Ex-tournament martial artist my fitness is still pretty high, despite the fact now my life consists of working sleeping and GFX work...and the rest of the time im drunk lol.
anaerobic exercise itself hardly burns that many calories. it does however increase your basal metabolism. If you need to loose weight fast, cardio will do it. If you want to loose weight at a decent pace in a healthy manner, anaerobics is key. Sure you might burn 100 fewer calories from the activity, but when you've increased your daily metabolic requirements by 500 calories over time then that's fairly insignificant. anaerobic exercise also promotes your body to use excess energy for muscular development as opposed to storing it as fat. in short, you're wrong.
its like suprising how many of you have fast metabolism.Guys have a faster metabolism then girls so maybe thts why.But doesnt it decrease as you get older?
I used to go to the gym almost every day. It gradually slowed down, but I still continued to go.Then my dad got diagnosed with cancer and I stopped going all together. He's gotten surgery and everything, and he's getting much better, so hopefully soon I'll be going to the gym again. ^_^
...I go once, maybe twice a week...i run 3 km a day so i dont really feel the need to go, but maybe im a lazy bum lol
The best part about weight lifting is that I can eat as much as I want, and turn most of it into muscle. :lol: But fast metabolism doesn't last forever unless you keep it that way. So eventually, you're gonna have to start excercising.
My metabolism is about as fast as light traveling through Bose-Einstein condensate at a few billionths of a degree above absolute zero (btw you get a cookie if you knew that that slows light down to about 1mph) but yeah i work out 3-4 times a week
I myself usually go to the gym 4-5 days a week. I tend to slack on the weekends. I started going to get rid of the mantits, y'know? Ended up losing about 90lbs, and put on a decent amount of muscle. woo. anyway, the exercises all depend on what bodypart I work, and I don't keep a concrete set of exercises because it's necessary to change it up every once in a while, but i'll give one of my typical workouts for every body part. Biceps: Barbell Curls EZ Bar Preacher Curls Standing Supinating Dumbell Curls High-Pulley Cable Curls Triceps: Pressdowns Dumbell (or Cable) Kickbacks Overhead Dumbell Extensions Dips (Lately, I've been getting into weighted dips) Chest: Incline Barbell Press Flat Barbell Press Incline Cable Flyes Dips (for lower chest) Shoulders: Barbell (or Dumbell) Military Press Front Dumbell Raises Lateral Raises Upright Barbell Rows Shrugs (Dumbell) Back: Pullups Bent Over Rows Low Cable Rows (or T-Bar Rows) Reverse Grip LatPulldowns Legs: Squats Lying Leg Curls Leg Press Leg Extensions Sometimes i'll train for strength (Heavy / Low Rep) Sometimes i'll train for mass (Moderate / Moderate Rep) ... and I always try to do about 30minutes of cardio immediately afterward. =]
I don't do gym as a sport, just regularry take a walk outside the door in the summer times. I playing soccor with my friends and playing volleybal so all with all i'm making sure that I keep fit.
Don't go to gym, got most the stuff at home i need But like bam n few others said, got a fast metabolism, eat heaps n dont gain nething =D but still work out everynow n then
