In high school I played tennis, our team won states. We were heavy favorites though..our team was a powerhouse. Our #1 was ranked #1 in the state [FL], the #2 played --- tournaments, I played #3, our #4 was from Chile, and our #5 smoked pot a lot. It was great.

I don't know what your community is like, but here, if you make a school, especially varsity, you wouldn't play crappy city league.

By the way, no offense, but making varsity as a freshman has no bearing unless I know how good your team is.

Well, my city league team, was my varsity team, we all just played two leagues. We won state. Was pretty fun. We are decent, but we aren't great. We went to the state tourny for Varsity, but lost third round.

Played basketball my freshman year but I partially tore a ligament in my knee, so instead of going through surgery I opted to just drop it and let it heal itself as much as possible. I miss playing a lot, especially with watching all of my friends making it to states this year. :(
