Sure..Ps3 is a good choice..If you plan on admiring a console's graphics all day :P

But for gameplay, get a Wii, it's $250, and it has alot of fun games. But if you want shooters(like Gears of War, and Lost Planet)

    Then get a 360

It really all depends on what you like to play best.

If you like games like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Devil May Cry, God of War, games like that, get the PS3.

If you like to play shooters like Halo, Gears of War, Lost Planet, etc. then get the 360

If you like games that are really all about gameplay and you like to play games like Mario, Zelda, Metroid Prime, etc then get the Wii.

You really shouldn't be asking us what you should get, at least with the information you gave us. Everyone has just stated the system that THEY would rather have, so they said you should get it. YOU should go do some research on the games, and then YOU should decide what console you want to buy.

it just depends on what type of experiance you want to have. if you want to have fun by yourself and don't care about a games story or graphics as much, then i would go for the wii. if you do care about the story/graphics, and you want to go online go for the 360.

I say 360 over the Wii.

I mean sure the Wii is very innovative with the new motion controlled games, but I was over my friends house, and I'm not sure if this happens to everyone, but the controls were really unresponsive, not much would work. It does have amazing games SSBB will be out, Zelda...umm...yea. The graphics aren't too great on it though, and honestly you'd think that by now in this time period Nintendo would actually focus on graphics as well.

360's wireless controls give it a boost since the Xboxs wires were a pain. Overall has more games that would be worth playing like halo 1/2, Gears of War, Dead Rising, Saints Row, Lost Planet etc. Its got the graphics as well as the gameplay and storylines. Plus don't forget live. Even if you don't play on Live the game is still amazing anyway. The bad things about it is that its loud...150 bux more and.....thats it.

I would say buy the 360 now to get the more expensive one out of the way so that when you ask your parents to buy you the Wii later they would be paying 250 then instead of 400.

the controllers aren't unresponsive, simple as that. how can nintendo make a new console and make controls which don't work 50% of the time? its common sense.

I would get the Wii because it's exciting, less nerdy slow amazingy, it's hard to explain, the 360 is like super "omg" with graphics it's almost boring right after, play a racing game, sooo -----... soo much to control and everything, On the Wii, excite truck say, it's really exciting, friends can pick up how to play right away, since you are literaly driving, not figuring tons of buttons. In the long run imo the wii has more thrills than the xbox 360, and it has newer things, like recently i connected my wiimote to the pc and used it as a cursor, to play games, and more!

Then again, the 360 does have online play at the moment, but the wii will have it this month or the next anyways, and there is a mic IN the controller :D

depends on what kind of gamer you are.

If you like blood and violence and killing people and fighting against other people online like halo or gears of war, xbox 360 is your chioce

if you like fun challenging cool games like zelda and the twilight princess or super mario smash (brawl is coming soon!) then wii is your chioce

the 360 gives you more things to do like you can put portable devices and synchronize cds and make wallpapers in the background and listen to music while playing games and sometimes even play old xbox games and u can go to the xbox live marketplace and buy stuff pretty cool.

im not sure what the wii does (i dont have one).

all in all this could be the hardest questions ever lol
but its your chioce you should just get the 360 first and save up for the wii since its cheaper

Well, just if people were wondering, the Wii is great for family & friends fun, it's easy to pick up a game and be good at it, but it's a lot smaller (hd) and there is no (as of now) way to get free anything on it, not even people made stuff.

Bah, as someone said previously, it has nothing to do with blood and violence V nice friendly family fun.. Both systems have both kinds of games..

For me it's an easy choice, which is the better system?.. The 360 by far.. Yeah, the Wii is cheap, but you really do get what you pay for?.. It's nowhere near as powerful, and the list of features that the normal Xbox and PS2 have over this system is endless..

The ONLY thing the Wii offers is a few franchise games and a different way of controlling the game.. I love the new 360 controls, i think they are the best control i've ever used, the graphics on the system are terrific and you know the great games won't stop rolling on in..

Don't listen to nintendo fanboys or Microsoft haters, get the better system..
