I'm wondering if it's allowed, as it's a sorta way of making people register at a site which can be considered advertising.

I think hes getting people to register at his forum to get their password for gamerenders, which would be the reason he would want them to use their name they are using at gamerenders to register with.

 

I'm not really thinkin it is because of that, it's probaly some kind of new site that is coming up with a referral contest going on.
