Hi there, I was just wondering if some of you Game Renders Regulars wanted to check out the beginnings of my website and tell me what you think. http://www.markblackwood.com thanks
Change the header. every time i press on back i have to watch that animation till i can press on another button, thats really annoying. but for the rest it looks ok.
isnt this advertising? Merged Post: just looked at the site. Please tell me this isnt finished. Its a white backround with text going down. At this very poit i rate it : 1:10
i like it, i would change the side bars, they're a bit too dark and stand out a lot, make them a lighter color. ~Tab-Designs
yeah the flash needs to be changed... there's so much potential with flash links, but tbh that is the most boring links Ive ever seen EDIT: oops...
It's not too bad i think the colours could do with changing but thats not the point. Your template is pretty good, like the flash Sammmm
updated the site, slightly different design. minus the flash and added a couple more pages. thans for the cnc so far
1 out of 10? I think its pretty safe to ignore this guys rating. Unless of course it was different than what I'm looking at now. I'm actually going to not even comment on the design aside from that. What I need to point out is an issue with your coding. You used a little technique I normally call "div whoring." <div> isn't the only tag out there. Your code should reflect the content and meaning of the content, which using <div> tags doesn't achieve. For example, use a the header tags instead of <div>s styled to have big text. It's referred to as semantic markup. You also need to close your link and input tags. Should be, for example <link [attributes here] /> <input [attributes here] /> not, <link [attributes here]> <input [attributes here]> Additionally, you can only use an ID once on the page. If you need to use it multiple times, it should be a class. You also wrote </ body> instead of, </body> Validation page: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%...lackwood.com%2F
Looks good! Only thing I would like to comment on, is that there is too much white "free space".. Too much scrolling down.
