im looking to buy new subs for my car. It is a small car, its a Ford Taurus. they should be a pair that totals around 1000 watts to about 1500 watts. an i am on a budget so if anyone can help me find some cheap ones i would really appreciate it. My favorite brands are Alpine and Pioneer. They need to kcik really hard, and if anyone can find a bundle deal (ncludes amp, box, cords, subs) I WOULD BE S0 HAPPY
For a car like that you'll only be needing two 10 inch subs. 2 amps. Alpine Type-R or Rocksford Fosgates are your best bet. Are your speakers already good? If you'd like better speakers, just get some Sonys. They're the best bang for your buck.
Otherwise 1 amp typically won't be enough to power 2 subs to maximum capability. 1 would be fine, But he said he wants to have a killer sound system.
