Everyone knows the story lines in wrestling are scripted, but everyone who thinks that getting slamed on a ring made of wood repeatedly wouldnt hurt should try it.

I forget what the show made him mess with but I remember just them putting hydrolics under the ring to make it shake..It was pretty funny.
the ring isn't wood, it's padded and the wooden floor underneath the padding does in fact budge slightly I've been suplexed a few times in actual wrestling matches, no flexible wooden floor underneath and it knocked the wind out of me for around 2 seconds, but It didn't really hurt that much, just shocks you and makes you a little stunned.
The fighting is about 80% real, whether it's scripted or not. What's scripted is the STORY LINE.. Just like a movie that you see. Bums on steroids? John Claude Van Damn, Arnald Swartz, Silvester Stalone; Shall I go on? Catch my drift before you run too far into the wind. It's just like watching a non-predictable, never-ending story line to a movie. Who cares if it's fake (in 50/50 part of it), you watch it for Entertainment. It's called World Wrestling ENTERTAINMENT, not championship or real fighting. And please, please get hit by even a ALUMINUM chair on your back, or head, even LIGHTLY by a 5 year old, and tell me if it doesn't hurt. Please fall through even a paper-thin table onto a padded concrete floor and tell me if it doesn't hurt.. Please, bleed (not fake) blood for me. I like watching it. I don't like watching sports, never just got into it.. But I watch this when it comes on, because I think it's interesting. The point of this thread was to say GOOD things about what the topic poster posted about. Hell, even if you have something negative to say, KEEP IT ON TOPIC, not say that the whole thing sucks and is fake and is blah blah blah and blah with blah. That's the reason 100 threads a day get closed.
Umm..... A wrestler known as Tripple H just got out for 6 months because he tore one of his major muscles in his right leg, and they showed the surgery. What is it.. I think 3 wrestlers are out for a broken neck? One wrestler down due to horrific lower back accident, near paralyzm? Probably will never wrestle again. What is there, like, 15 wrestlers who have stitches right now? 3203491723041324 with broken bones? Oh yeah, sorry.. I know, actors get hurt just as much doing all their horrific stunts. Plus, who do you think gets paid more? That's right, one match as a wrestlers pays more than 3 months of an actor.
Isn't it true that these wrestlers take steroids? Well yah, wrestlers are pretty famous lol, you see little 5 years olds with these action figure dudes, and they're making all these weird noises lol...a tribute to human brutality =D but still, WWE didn't get to where it was for no reason did it? It didn't become the most popular fighting sport in USA for no reason did it lol? Personnaly, I prefer KOTC fighting
I can't wait undertaker is my favorite and he is undefeated at wrestlemania which will make him 15-0 and 5 time world champion. Defiantly have to download wrestlemania.
I think I just figured out the story right when I watched RAW today. And I think when Undertaker and Cena fight undertaker is gonna win because he's "undefeated" in Wrestlemania. So Cena's goin to lose his title temporarily...He'll get it back though cause he's like one of the most popular guys on the show.

damn he still wrestles? that's nuts... i used to watch that like... 9 or 10 years ago. then my dad told me it was fake and i wasn't feeling the whole "vibe". but that's nuts, i'm sure his body is all ----ed up from like... 10 years or whatever or doing that ----.
Hes done wrestling for 14-15years ... Wrestlemania - 14-0 atm and probably 15-0 this year and it happens every 1yr so 15 years in the business is WOW Ye well i kinda stopped watching wrestling ages ago got boring propa but i decide to watch the PPV to see whats happening as they have good matches on there I dont give a dam shiz if its fake - I know its scripted however as said what you watch on TV is absolute fake besides some channels If someone jumps off the top of that big titantron then you are saying it wont hurt would be wrong - It would probably break your back even if you had cushions under there - HHH just torn his other leg's ligaments out for 4months - He torn his other as well before Taker vs HBK at the end was a decent fight AND STOP SPAMMING ABOUT FAKE AND SCRIPTING!!
