Okay, there have been countless marches for if abortion should be allowed or not in my town. What do you guys think politicians should do about it?
Its should be up to the mother (and the father.. Should be mutual, unless tehre is no father). There deffinately cases where it should be allowed, like pregnancy from a rape, or something.
I honestly don't consider anything that lives inside another being a life. A fetus can't survive on it's own, and people say "Well yes it can", no it can't. It can survive out of the mother with the assistance of medicine and the what not but that isn't natural if the fetus is just taken out of the mom early chances are it's going to go kaput. So the fetus is part of the woman because it uses her to survive, she can do what she wants with her body.
There should be no laws for abortion. If you don't like it, then don't do it. Simple as that. All the talk about when life starts is all speculation, varies widely from person to person. Reasons for Abortion: 1) If a girl is raped, she should have the right to an abortion. Why should she have to suffer through more crap? 2) Dumbass 16 year old girl gets knocked up by her boyfriend. If she doesnt get an abortion, her life is now ruined. Not enough money to support the baby in a good environment and provide for it. Baby also has a ----ty life. Lose-Lose. She'll learn her lesson and fix her ways. Just stuff along those lines. If you dont support abortion, don't force your beliefs on others.
I am more against this than for it. My reasons for being against: If you don't want a child then you should have used protection, it is their own fault that they got pregnant for not using some kind of protection to protect themselves from this kind of thing. There are so many things out there now that women/men can use like, condoms, femidoms, coil, implanon, injection etc etc. They should have thought twice about what they were doing, if they didn't want to have a baby then they should have gone out and protected themelves or they shouldn't have had sex in the first place. Why should such an innocent thing be killed because the mother/father are too stupid to protect themselves/being selfish? If the woman was doing it so that she could have a life of her own and be able to still go out and enjoy herself then that is being totally selfish. She has no right to kill her child. I also argued about this point on another site, someone said: 'the woman can do what she wants, the father has no say in the matter' The father has every right to say whether he wants the child or not, it is a 50/50 decision as the child is as much his as it is hers. Reasons for being for it: I could understand if the woman was raped then yes, she has a right to have an abortion but there are women who have kept the child, there are also some who have kept the child but given it up for adoption, i could not say what i would do if this was me unless i was put into that position. The only time i would have an abortion myself is if i knew for a fact that my child was disabled, then yes i would have one as it would not be fair on my child. Disabled as: my child would not be able to do anything for him/herself, wouldnt have a good life and would die at a young age. I could not have a child knowing that he/she could die in a few years time, that would be too painful for me, yes i could give my child up for adoption but that would hurt more knowing that my child was out there somewhere with another person, i wouldnt know if my child was dead..meh..i just couldnt do it personally.
depends on the situation i suppose.if someones been raped then sure but if someone is jus having sex wellthen no.
There, yolu just clearly explained why there should be NO LAWS AGAINST abortion. Isn't that what we are aruiging about? Not whether its right or wrong. He said abortion rights. Im not an ass, and abortion is wrong and cruel but in my opinion there are worse things that that. Getting Raped Condoms aren't 100% effective If the kid was going to be disabled and coulnd't live a good life So it should all come down to personal choices.
