Unfortunately my mom doesn't consider myself making over double what she makes doing web design to be a 'job', so I am being forced to get a 40 hour a week job by February 7th (dont ask what happens if i dont have a job).

So, what are some jobs that you guys have had taht you enjoy.

Age - 18 (can do anything basically)
Education - High school or equivelent
    Experience - open (little/none)

Anyone have any recommendations of places to look for jobs that are relatively decent to work? It needs to be a good... $8/hr + (your average job around here)...

    no.

Also, I live in a city, so no farms and the like about that, its heavy in construction, but no companies are hiring for construction atm.

Dont have a future shop around, can't work for wal-mart anymore (worked there, quit, got rehired, and quit again), and i refuse to demean myself to work for fast food.

I am talking DECENT jobs, not minimum wage POS jobs, just decent jobs that are available in most fairly large cities.

No idea if they're in your immediate area or not, but Lowe's pays decently well from what I hear. Fork lifts and all, you might be able to have a little fun and make decent money with it. I'd imagine that Home Depot would be the same way? It's worth a look.

Go to your local newspaper. At my local newspaper, there are jobs for designing the paper. They use In Design.
