how do you blend your render into the bg? I just made a new layer, changed the blend mode to color, painted it black, and put it over everything but I can't do color balance that way...
Alright ill tell you guys what i can. Wolframm: First off as for the text make the normal text for mine i used size 18 xenotype or something. Then once im done doing everything to the text i make another text box and put the same words in it with the same size and hit the flip vertical button in the edit > free transform selection. then i move it directly under the other text and change the blending option to soft light. Second for blending the render i did mine a different way as my sig was made muti color using 5 layers or brushing with a different cb layer on each, but for that way its simple just select the layer with the render go to hue/saturation and make it grey then go to this button: (green arrow 1 first and green arrow 2 second) By clicking this one it makes the color balance layer over the whole image so everything is colored not just one layer .. Does that make sense?? Samus: You also could make your sig look better by using that method of coloring, and then using a little favorite thing of mine called levels to get the glassy effect in the coloring instead of the dull coloring. BTW thanks eirik
k... you have written in your text. then right click on the text layer in the layer pallete.>duplicate then in the new layer, right click on it>rasterize layer. then hit "q" and grab your gradient tool. make a gradient from the top to the bottom. then hit "q" again. and hit delete change your opacity to "50" or lower... something like that. or you can simply set the layer to "soft light" and to blend it. save the render you have found "has to be transparent" then go file>open open the (.png/.gif) file. in the layers palette while holding over the layer. press Control + Click (with your mouse) then Control + C to copy. now go back to your document. and paste it. and set layer to luminosity. that's how i did it. good luck! ~Eirik
