to be completely honest, the colors hurt my eyes, try to tone them down a bit, if you do that it may have potential... althoug, considering this is your first attempt I give it a 7/10 nice try... If you want, I can code and slice it for cheap...PM me if you want me to..
I think its pretty good, but maybe try to compact the links at the top so that upcoming doesnt go onto the scanlines
