Well I might be getting a ps2 but I'm not sure yet. Its going to be the slim model so I got some questions. Does online cost money? Do I have to buy anything to make online work? ( I already have a modem and a router with internet) Do you have to pay monthly fees for games for example ff online? Thanks I might [+] you if I get good answers
You wouldn't need anything extra to get the PS2 online other than a internet connection and a ethernet cable. I would say 99% of the games are no charge, I think the only two games that cost a montly fee is Final Fantasy X and Phantasy Star Universe - Online. Your best bet for online play on the PS2 is any game from the Socom series, Socom: Combined Assault being the most recent. Also, be sure to get your hands on a mic because online play without it just isn't the same. Hope this helps.
