well currently iam getting my ping up to 130 ! My normal ping is around 15-30. Any suggestions what can be wrong ? My specs: cpu: amd 64 3700+ 2.4Ghz gfc: nvidia 7900gt ram: 1.5gb internet: 4 mbps I am sure i dont have virus/spyware on my computer.
could just be server lag, check other peoples pings. Try filtering the searches so that the filter is on your part of the world
Ping is the amount of time for a packet to go from point A to B and back. It is on your connection to point B not your computer specs. Check your internet connection. Make sure nothing is interfering, IE. torrents, downloads, uploads...
well i tried on most servers and iam getting same high ping which makes me lag alot. I play on server that is in my country and my usual ping on these is around 15-30. I was wondering if any commands i could use to help me control ping.
Its because your playing in locations too far away. Set it so that it only searches for servers in your area.
