Code: taken from : [url]http://www.wiihaveaproblem.com/[/url] Code: Well this is the second rear projection being violated today. Once again we have a couple of young kids just out for a good time without thinking about the long term consequences. You think you are just getting excited about the Wii, but then BAM! ...its over... all your tears... all your apologies to your TV... nothing can bring it back now. Why don't we all go straight to the testimonial from Laura to see how quickly a little excitement can make an abuser out of you too. "I really couldn't believe people were breaking the straps, I thought they must be drunk and throwing the Wii-motes without using the straps correctly, but then it happened!" Don't hold back Laura... Share with us the rest of your story. "My friend and I were playing baseball, after discussing the stories of broken straps and broken TVs, and he mentioned his hand was getting sweaty. He wiped his hand dry, as the Nintendo site instructs to do, and then he was up to bat, and the Wii-mote went flying out of his hands, the strap broke, and the TV cracked! I still can't believe it! But sure enough, just like those other people posted, that little string was torn! There are two layers of screens on my 42" Rear Projection TV, and the Wii-mote broke through both!" Don't let a lifetime of regret happen to you too. Use Wii responsibly. The camera angle suggests that Laura is totally without clothes. Did anyone else notice this or am I just very very alone? This is what you get ,when you handle the WII wrong you can have this effect. Or : And ofcourse , if you dident aim at the TV, other aplications are victim Code: Is Zelda pissing you off? Can't figure out how to work the fishing pole? Haven't even made it that far yet? Well, whatever you do - DO NOT- throw the controller out of anger. You never know when you put your laptop at your feet and accidentally chuck the controller into the screen. That's exactly what this user did. The best part is that the strap still managed to break, what are the odds of that? Also; how awesome is it that the website is Best Buy? I bet he was ready to buy an HDTV before he realized the dangers that lurk ahead! Warning ,everyone with a WII watch out with the new controllers , the straps sometimes like to shoot lose
Not really nintendo's problem....i mean how stupid do u have to be to let go off ur controller....its the owners fault....wii kicks ass though
yeah, but you're going to have to throw the wiimote at quite some force for that to happen. its nintendo's fault that the thing attached isnt very strong, but its peoples fault that they don't realise the thing isn't that strong. u dont have to be a genious to realize it, its like a piece of string. i still say its the peoples faults though.. i am, among other people (rl friends) havent had any issues with the wiimote slipping and what not. sure it can, but l2drysweatyhandsonshorts.
unless you bathe in olive oil and clean your hands in motor oil..... you're not gonna throw your wiimote ..... i haven't...... and if you're that worried about it, just wear a tennis glove or something... i don't even use the strap....... i live life on the edge.
well... you forget about scrawny anerexic nerdds who can barely lift the remote to begin with... yet alone hold on to it... it's rather sad. Maybe the big N shoudl start bundling a leather wrist strap
Apperntly not , i just checked the site again and seem someone got a WII remote in the eye, musta hurt
some people are so stupid i was reading about this in the paper to, its not nintendos fault people just swing like maniacs i mean really someone did it while bowling lol
Word. And the straps. Yea well, you don't let go of the control and pray the strap works. Common sense. This should all stop by now anyhow cuz people know of the problem so they shouldn't be such douches.
lol wow people are very stupid nowadays me and my friend played his wii for hours a couple weeks ago and nothing happend, i dont even think i got sweaty palms
