Is The 360 Supposed To Be So Darn Loud?

When i have a game in my xbox 360 it gets loud as hell! but when there is nothing in it i can hardly hear it!

It's only 3 days old is it supposed to be that loud?

 

ye i got mine about 2 weeks ago, and i have the same, lets call it, problem...during GoW i have to turn the volume up like sh...

 

I changed my mind, it's loud ALL the time! I get a great sense of relief once i turn it off

 

I think that its a "problem" with everyone who owns 360

When i got mine i were like "whatta..??"

 

yeah its meant to be, mine does that, and seems every1 elses does too =/

 

You guys should try asking Microsoft.
Mine doesn't make noises.

easy solution just make your tv louder

 

Its loud because it has 2 exaust fans for the extreme heat that comes from the processor and the GPU and when you have a disc in the tray, its even loudder because the DVD drive needs to spin up to read the Disc
