Great Zelda, definetly better then ocarina of time, but a bit disapointing.

The Zelda series has gone a very long way since the first Zelda to the brand new, amazing graphics, Zeldas we all know now. In achivement Ocarina of time was definetly a challenge then people still talk about. Majoras mask was less of a victory with it's bizzare story that just happens out of nowhere and is very time consuming and frustrating. Not to long ago Wind Waker was released. A great game, new graphic type, and a all new experience for Zelda on a new console Gamecube. The game did very well. But it doesn't stop there. Another Zelda was released. Twilight Princess. A great game. Beats, by pure default, the Nintendo 64 games Ocarina of time and Majoras mask. I'd say it comes close to Wind Waker. Most people enjoy Twilight Princess graphics more or vice-versa but it depends on the people.

Let's start with the gameplay finally. Alright throughout the game you figure tricks and puzzles, temples and side quest. My favorite thing about it was the fighting. Link pulls the sword out and slashes, blocks and boy doesn't he look amazing. He flips the sword around making him look even cooler and ready for battle. His moves are definetly powerfull not to mention awesome. The secret ability's are also very interesting, as powerfull as they all are I guess in some ways I like them all. I always use them when possible. The best one would have to be the Mortal Draw. It's a ability where you must have you're sword tilted and when you get close to a enemy you will see at the bottom of the screen saying "Attack! A". If you press it in time you get a One Shot Kill. So sword play is nice, on Epona aswell.

Now about the dungeons and the bosses. I've played alot of Zeldas and the temples prove a challenge and some thinking. They have they're own unique likings but sometimes they rely on tricks and puzzles they initial did in the Ocarina of Time and the Majoras mask which made it feel kinda stuck in the past but none the less an amazing temple challenge.

The mini bosses or sub-bosses are hard depending on the temple. The forest temple one took me longer then the boss which in alot of ways is sad. The temple of time mini boss is quite hard aswell but I think the sky temples sub-boss was easy. None the less the sub-bosses proved a harder challenged most of the time then the actual boss.

Now the bosses. The worst things in the whole game. Other then the compelling temples and the incredibly hard sidequests you tend to do the bosses comes to be the easiest on the block. No question they are absolutely easy. This is why my gameplay score is 7. These bosses might look challenging in many aspects but they just cant top it off. You will need atleast 2-5 minutes to figure them out. And then when you figure it out and start doing damage they die quite fast. So no wonder my score is low.

The ending was also a Huge Disapointment. I was hoping hardcore stuff with Ganondorf but it was just to easy. The four rounds with the last boss Ganondorf is just to easy. I get him so easily. The hardest rounds are the 2 first ones after that its so disapointing. The ending was crapped and should be harder. I meen that temple to get to Ganondorf was harder then he will ever be.

Now the Graphics. They are a big improvement from any Zelda game of it's sort, this excludes Wind Waker. They sure did go a long, long way from the beggining and I must say Congrats to nintendo. But the thing they haven't been able to do is the edges and the paths. The look to sharp and times and is something nintendo has been doing mistakes with for years. It lowers the graphics stand point because of the fatal mistake. They need to soften the edges and make it look a bit better? Other then this the graphics on the characters look great. Nice detail, in some parts, and nice effects. Link looks alright, they focused on him ofcourse but the others don't look as good. I meen I'll admit Gorons and Zoras look very, very amazing. Sick improvement but the humans in the town specifically don't look to amazing. Sometimes the look done quickly or just the detail lacks, sharp edges. The effects look big, cool and there isn't much to say but nice work on this part.

The temples have a great feel, with the graphics so the looks and the area. They make sence and you can do alot more with the smaller things then you'd thing. Temples were done nicely. Only regret is the sharp parts.

The sound. The sound is very nice and classical. They definetly used the Ocarina of Time songs but improved them slightly. It feels good to have the old toons. Not to mention they sound better and faster so you don't waste a couple more seconds on the old sounds they had in Ocarina of time.

They definetly called the times and used the proper music styles. The opening music is new but the music you hear to pick a quest log is a old classic fairy foutain music. Love that they added it. Bascially there are new songs, that are sick, and old songs that sound cool but are not to inventive. They are just modified from an old game and added. They get lame time to time and they maybe should of added a few more new sounds. They are nice but not the best. Not to my extreme liking.

Value? Well value is basically how long you'd stay addicted and like, play, the game. I'd say I get bored at numberous ocasions. It just bores you and takes you off. You'd eventually get back on but a good game woulden't do it often meening this game, like practically all others, can get boring. Although it didn't take me long to get bored again and play it again and I played it for a couple of hours before the boring part came along. Still it's cool.

Finally the Reviwers tilt. This is basically to talk about how I like the extra stuff, the story and what not. Well the story is well placed, the cutscenes are outstanding and I very much liked the awesomeness of fishing and those mini games they have around lake hylia. Fun but frustrating when you lose and lose when you retry. But they get easier the more you practice.

So right now I'd overall the game a 8.4, apparently. Nice game and it doesn't deserver more or less in my book.

    Thanks for reading my review!

Since I originally posted this on gamespot I can put the scores I gave it to get 8.4

IMO a great game I'd have to give it about the same score too as I have played through maybe half the game by now and while the story's still there it's gotten a bit tedious and the wiimote isn't able give that flair that it used to when my brother bought it a few weeks if not a month ago.

Anyway great review and I mostly agree with you, though I have to say, if you have a Wii or GC this game is a must buy.

Have you played any? It's like the Final Fantasy, so to speak, of Nintendo

I think these games are better then Final Fantasy because you actually control what your character does and no long loading to battle, plus I don't really like final fantasy type of battles.

Id definately reccomend you buy it if you have a wii...But from what i played without motion sensing this game would be just boring...

No offense but i had more fun playing the original zelda with 2-d graphics (that game is hard)
