Not a shocker at all to me really.. Aliens are out there. What makes you think that this universe is SOO big, that with our self-centered little minds, make us think that we are the smartest badass species, when we can't even figure out how life started; hell, or figure out what came first, the chicken or the egg.

    complete bull----.

"a dispropertionate amount of genes are inactive in humans"

might be ebcause our large brains made them obsolete in a sense. Vestgial DNA and RNA is nothing groundbreaking and it has been known about for a while. Much like how We no longer need our toes, tonsils or appendix, we no logner need the entirety of out DNA.

This would support evolutionary theory. If life was derived froma single origin, much of existance would have the same genetic srquences, guess what, much of life has the same genetic sequences(we share of our DNA with flatworms for example) if a gene was innactive or neutral, there would be no reason for it to be removed. Over millions of generations, other genes could mask others further increasing this.

Though this also supports creationist theory as well seeing that most of life would have a similar genetic design.

i honestly hope they figure out how we started before i die. its pretty scary thinking about death, in depth.. like you wake up everyday, going on forums.. and yet, you're going to die somewhat down the road.

but on topic: im pretty sure toe's are needed to keep the human body up-right. but anyway, i do believe there are aliens out there somewhere.. and i'm also sure that they don't look like what people today make them out to be.

toes are note needed to stand the human body and they are considered a vestigial organ in the AP Biology curiculum.

Anyone with even a basic understanding of biology can dismiss this article as speculative bull---- with little if any scientific backing.

Anyone with common sense would entirely dissmiss it.
these aliens supposedly implanted DNA into homo eructuses. Yet the off spring look entirely Identical to them - but a disproportionate amount of DNA is inactive and the whole theory is based off of us having inactive DNA.

that's a bit of a paradox if you asked me...

Seriously what are the chances of two species developing independently billions of billions of miles away.

this is all p[lotted at weak minded people who want to feal special as they dewiate themselves from the norm.

I honestly don't know if Inteligent life exists outside of earth, but if ti did, earth would have been colonized allready or soon will be and we'll be making a nice slave-labour pool.

They're referring to humans having a disproportionate amount of intronal DNA, who give's a F?

intronal DNA while typically inactive allows for greater genetic deviation by increasing the probability of crossing over and furthermore depending on the genotype of the individual, what might be an intron in one individual might be an exon in the offspring.
