Hey, so here's my question, now I have been trying to use some video capturing freeware, but when ever I capture some video and save it, it won't work. All it shows is a blank screen when I try to play it. So does anyone know of a way to get around this or some video captureing freeware that will get around this?

Video, I downloaded a video capture software (like the kind you can use to capture your desktop and stuff) and I played a dvd and tried to capture some of it, I saved the file, but when I tried to play it on Windows media player, it wouldn't play, it only showed a black screen.

Yeah, it happens to me as well, I dun think its possible to capture and record a dvd, the only way it to use a ripper I think. There's many free dvd rippers out there, just google it ;)

I'm using one called Super Screen capture or something like, it saved it as an AVI file, but when I tried to replay it, it just played a black screen....

You have to rip it, as far as I know, its really hard/impossible to record a video/dvd.
