I have done this many times and what i fine works best is keep saying to yourself that you are dreaming and then you will be able to control better. Good luck bud hope you have fun with this!

I doubt that having control of what happens in your mind will lead you to suicide.

yeah, i control my dream state (for the most part). Took awhile, but i can now dream about what i want instead of some random thoughts, i can wake myself up at any specified time without an alarm closk, most of the time i just try to relax and let whatever random thoughts come to me. Do not allow yourself to become to dominant over your dreams, this leads to higher levels of stress, depression, and anxiety. We work out our subliminal problems while we sleep...without that, our problems tend to build up and have negative effects.

Hehe, I had an account at DreamViews for a couple months now. I've been trying the WILD technique for over a month now (or has it been 2?) with no luck. Not giving up though, I'm doin' it every night until I get it. IM SO CLOSE! (Sry for caps :P)

I've been trying to Lucid Dream for a while, but with no luck. Only bits and pieces of it are sometimes lucid.

I Am A Lucid Dreamer But I Only Became This Way Because I Have Had Alot Of Bad Things Happen In My Life And I've Seen Alot Of Disturbing Things lol. So I Would Dream About These Alot. But I Just Thought Of Happy Things And That Helped But If It Was A Nightmare/Night Terror It Just Changed Before Anything Bad Would Happen So Yeah. Just Think Happy Thoughts lol

I had a lucid dream last night.
I don't practice it, it happens at random.

But I had a dream where I was in a different house, on my computer. Everything was different, my wallpaper, the icons, the music I was listening to, my OS. All of a sudden it started screwing up on me, and then I got frustrated.

Upon recognizing all these differences, I was able to realize I was having a dream and control what happened. Most of the time, I don't recognize these differences between real life, and my dreams progress into nightmares.

Seriously, Ive been doing this kind of dreaming for years. mostly i turn it into a FPS liek doom or something till i get bored then force myself awake. its really cool once you get the hang of it.
