Ie & Firefox

If you have some Tips and Tricks for either of the browsers, here is the place!

I persume most of you know this feature but for those of you who dont, here it is;

As you know IE & Firefox stores all you type into form fields like google search or Login forms. This is very handy, but after a while you just have really long and useless lists. The worst thing all typos are there too.

You can delete them, not by deleting the entire stored form data, but only those ones not needed.

If you come to a form and the list shows up, then you only have to highlight the one, and hit delete while holding the shift key down. This works in all kind of forms, even URL's address history.

Hope this helps to clean the unneeded/typo'd URL's or logins etc from your clogged up forms & URL's address history. :tongue:

Yes you can also upgrade to fasterfox which is the easier of the two lol

And also make sure to take EXTREME advantage of those amazing extensions

 

If you follow the tut and use fasterfox, its speed it up a damn lot.

Dunno why, but when I did both(the tweaking directions and fasterfox) it made Firefox even faster, so I think they're two different things.

 

They are two separate things lol.

 

I have a tip for IE users. Uninstall ASAP. and OPERA = no more viruses.

 

I've heard mixed reviews about Opera, how is that?

 

It keeps the bad people out of your computer. It's basically a super e-condom.
