I heard about this; 20,000 more troops. That's quite a bit.

people can argue what they may, the fact remains, we should have finished the job back in the first Gulf War and we should have gone in with a half million(with an M) at the very start and showed them what real shock and awe are

i don't understand the point of any further topics about Bush, we all know he's a f'n dumb*ss, who doesn't know the meaning of retreat or reconciliation...or, i was wrong. He will be out soon and a new dumb*ss will take his place, really hoping for a democrat this time around. All you elligible voters, vote democrat, there are way too many republicans running the govt.

if he's so damn stupid, I don't even want to know what that makes the average American. He's a Yale graduate.

and voting along party lines is what you do if you're a BIASED FOOL.
Vote for who will deliver the best policies. I'm a conservative, but I certainely wont' be registering republican. I'll likely end up voting mostly libertarian and independant.

well, let's clarify here. he's a yale graduate because he has money and his name is known, not because he's smart, i doubt he can tie his own shoes.

As opposed to your vastly superior "left-wing" (no, excuse me: intelligent) ideas? Different ideas do not mean "let's go insult a whole group of people." You know, that thing that liberalism/"the left-wing" tends to preach (equality for all, freedom to express one's views etc.)? Oops, here come the hypocrites to tell me I'm an idiot for believing in something different than them again... Lock the ----ing doors.

As for the Great Baghdad Dog and Pony Show, send enough to get the stupid job done. Once that job is done, take them out. Pulling out now won't help matters and you're quite naive if you believe it will.

    ---

Some of you have been spoon-fed outright lies about Bush. Money, believe it or not, only paid his tuition and school costs (like thousands of others do each year...). Money can't buy grades. He passed the school, graduated, and got his degree, which is something a lot of you here haven't even started to do. I could dig up this same type of "dirt" (read: partial truths to support my opinion) on people such as Clinton, Gore, and Ted Kennedy. Just because he was able to pay tuition to a prestigous university (one that charges a lot more money than I can ever hope to afford) doesn't mean he bought his way through school. He had to have the GPA to enter as well, not just the money. They don't just let anybody into that school in case you haven't noticed.

Unfortunately, I'm not the idiot that I've been so kindly painted to be as shown above and I'm not going to base my opinion on somebody without knowing the facts on my own (not being spoon-fed half-truths to support an agenda). "lol bush is a retard cuz he talks funny" isn't a real argument. Neither is "oh he got out of the war cuz of his dadyds money and hes an idiot cuz hes from texas and sent us into iraq lol." Like it or not, the National Guard (as we see today) can be used in wartime. Just because he didn't go active-duty and didn't serve in Vietnam doesn't mean that he didn't serve the flag. He happened to actually join the military, something our friends Clinton, Gore, and Kennedy can't say for themselves. Not that that this inconvienent truth makes Bush a better man than them, of course, but it's quite wrong to paint him as a "draft-dodger" when those making the calls:

    - Ran to Canada
    - Have never served a day of their lives in the US armed forces
    - Did not/have not even register/ed for selective service
    - Are not old enough to even join the military or vote

Do any of you know why we went into Iraq? If you think it was to settle a personal score, shouldn't we have left in December of 2003 when we caught him?

the only reason he went to Yale is because of his father, as far as posting because of party...that's not exactly what i meant. If you look at the stats, there are far more republicans in the senate and in congress. The democratic party is more conservative, and we also need to balance out the ideals in the main govt. Of course you study up on the candidates and vote for who you think is best, but another republican will more than likely continue the "war" or resolve it much later after being elected. Also many of the candidates will more than likely try to use iraq as a way to sway the votes in there favor...basically, it comes down to who can have the most believable lie or who the public deems as being able to uphold the majority of their presidential promises.
I agree with the song mosh-Eminem...watch the video if you haven't already.
