Is anyone playing this? Because I would have to say, it has got to be one of the best games I have played in a looong time. So, if you were ever thinking about getting it, do it. I strongly reccomend it. There are a bunch of crazy new features such as the Liscense Board, and Mist abilities (check the site for more info). Am I the only one who is now obsessed with this game ?
I beat it like last week. It is a great game but very different from other FF games, not saying it's bad or any thing. It was too short, no sudden plot changes like other FF game (disapointed me), too easy. I like how it was more of a political game sort of like FFVIII, and not just LETS SAVE THE WORD GUYS! The battle system was the best, I actually had fun training unlike other FF games with those gay random battles. Great game but too short and easy, and no your not the only one obsesses, so was I that it ended up where I didnt pick up my phone when ever my gf phoned me up lol.
I'm not a crazed ff fan, so I'm pretty satisfied with this game, only problem is the lack of ultimate weapon sidequests, made me confused on what I should get.
seriously the week before FF 12 came out i sold my PS2 like a dumbass haha! i'm trying to borrow one so i can play it, how long would you all say it takes to beat the game(just an estimate, i'm aware it's different for everyone)
Some one I know beat the game in like 2 weeks or less I think. All I can say is the average level of my characters were like 55 and Fran was like 60 some thing when I beat the game easily. I've been told you can beat it at arround lvl 40, and leveling up is easy in this game and not boring if your like me who found the battle system to be fun.
Well I've heared their hard to beat but damn 3 hours? Wtf? Thats crazy, I might just restart playing the game and do the side stuff too and fight those 2 andthey better not be that long. Isn't there an Aeon battle in the Final Fantasy X - International version which has like 1,000,000 hitpoints or more?
i actually liked the game, the only ofther final fantasy i ever played was 7. i bought ff12 on the day it was releasesed collectors edition and all but never beat it cause i was doing alot of the mob hunt missions and such. then mgs PO was released and i haven't played the FF12 since. but it was pretty fun for the time i played it, the story was interesting.
Yeah, I personally never really liked any of the other FF games that much, but this one totally sucked me in. I think I am in it just a little bit over 40 hours. I absolutely love the battle system. I think the whole Gambit idea is, amazing. I have been waiting for a good RPG for a long time, and once I finally got this, I couldnt have asked for more. But hearing you all say its short kinda disapoints me, makes me wonder how much I still have to go. I hope quite a bit (Level 30 - After Tomb of Raithwall) About the no Ultimate weapon - I would have to agree with you, it is slightly confusing about what to chose, since there isnt just one item that just sticks out as #1. So what I did was go onto GameFaqs and I looked up the Game Mechanics to get a tighter grasp on what gear I should use. But if I could rate this game, I would most likely give it a 10/10 (maybe I just dont play enough good games such as this, so I dont really have anything good to compare it to ~_~) so if you have ever thought about getting this game, do it. It wasn't that good. I hated the fight system too. But still good. One more thing I hated was that you can't fight with your chocobo. I must tell, the old FF games was better.
There are hidden 'summons' (the name FF 12 used is escaping me) that you can do after ocmpleting the game that require level 65+ and then there is 1 that requires atleast a part of 3 at level 95 and the remainder above 85 (zodiark i believe is the name). The game itself is very good, it was put together well, but lacked alot of depth into the main characters, and instead focused alot more on the NPCs (which is different, but nto bad, as it kind of lets you set your own path and depth on the main characters. The battle system was great, i always have liked fully active battle systems... Not much I can say. First run through I beat it at level 45 in about a week and a half (all my characters were 35+), and since then I havnt touched it too much... I wouldnt iamgine the replay value is enourmously great, but the music and sfx are good...
I hated the last boss's attack that pretty much kills your character. Took me so long to actually get all my characters revived and healed cause they would get killed each time.
I dont know, I mean I killed him easily but it was just that my characters were with low HP every time I used a pheonix down on them and the boss would just attack the newly revived characters that had low HP so that was my problem. Until I realized I hada megalixer and healed 2 characters and then it got easy.
