Its well within bounds to reach your first character to level 60 in under 7 days playing 24/7 and being 100% anti-social and 100% game mode.
they really dont... remember, hordes are the ones getting the palidans on the xpac, so blizzard doesnt wanna update them, as alliance is blizzard's baby... shamans get huge boosts, shamans can out-DPS alot of locks without a decent amount of +spell dmg gear (not mages, but they also have mail armor, the ability to heal, and the ability to stop most casters, etc.) and they are the ones who got huge boosts because the alliance is getting them.
For pvp I would either go Warlock or Priest (In fact I'm going for a Blood Elf warlock in TBC), they're imo fun to play and rather overpowered in pvp. I'm currently playing on my level 60 mage which is also a lot of fun in pvp.
I'd go Warlock if you want dominance with spells, Rogue if being invisible and melee attacking everybody. I would NOT suggest playing a Paladin. People tend to associate you with being prepubescent, a small child, etc. I would also not suggest a druid, because, well...they suck.
either make a hunter or a rouge... there the best for the pvp arena and general pvps... if you dont feel like any of thoses you can play a pally because they can be defensive or offensive.. i like hunter cause u can ks alot but ya rouges in pvp arenas always pwn the crap out of me... but i twinked my levle 19 hunter so hes always top 2 in pvp and i got like all the pvp arena items look me up Maelstrom server- Spookyyy
Warlock if you don't want to die. All I know is that you might kill a warlock if he is afk. I'm a rouge and its hard for me...stealthing is cool and all...but it isn't cool going against warlocks.
Some of the main and in my opinion best PvP classes are between a Rogue, which piss people off and do tons of damage. A Mage, which also does tons of damage, and AoE's the poopie out of large groups and kicks everyones butt, or a Shadow Priest. Which they do decent damage with the right gear, silence, fear the poop out of everyone, and whoop them. Hunters are fairly nice as well, but don't do much. Druids are almost useless outside of flag carriers in PvP. Paladins, we all know what they're good for. (Not much in PvP I'm afraid) Warriors, unless you're fury, MS Speced even, they're no use in PvP, but geared right a fury warrior kicks ass, and can run flag well. I'm not a huge PvPer, but I know tons of people in my guild are, and tons of friends are. It's really all a matter of opinion, and thats mine. Hope it helps, remember, main thing about PvPing is speccing correctly. Check the World of Warcraft Class Forums to be sure what spec would be best for you, and PvP! Good luck, both now and in the soon to be release of the Expansion; Burning Crusade!
Shadow priests own, warlocks own most of the time, rogues can be good if they got someone good to play them, most of the time its just a nub button smasher. Mages are alright but they are to squishy, i rip them on my rogue. Warriors can be good but you need nice gear since they are very gear dependent.... pallys do nice damage now and they got alot of tricks up their sleeves
Well, if you want any help deciding still or want to know what to expect in the bc talk to me. I have played level 70 of every class in tier 4 and 5. I also have leveled 5 60's up and gotten them epiced.
