Nvidia Video Card Heat?

    Well I got my new 6800 nvidia and the core temperature is usually always 67 degrees. Is this a good thing or bad and how can I lower it?

    you can lower it by getting a different fan for it.

    ...i play cs source on my laptop and it gets up to 70. been playing for months and their is no problem with my laptop

    though you should set your fans to high

    GFX chips are made to get kinda hot it wont' really affect it's life as that's around normal.

    adn when you say always I assume you mean idle, under load tis hotter.

    Still its hot... buy a Zalman VF900 for it, this gave my friends 6800U about 45C idle and 65C stressed.

    ok well i think its because there is lots of dust in there and the fan might be dirty so I'll clean my computer and see it helps if not I'll buy that fan.
