Actually, I'm running it now. GUI looks great but sucks alot of ram. As we're talking now 1gb. The sucky part is, it takes 768mb of the ram and dedicades it to the VGA, so the vga will have a total of 1GB video memory.
why the hell would they do that? video cards allready fiel to system RAM when they need to and by doing it automatically ti slwos down the card.
..... im using vista right now the beta version theres no point in getting the enterprise version unless ur running a bussiness with alot shops and stuff Ulitmate is the best to go im gonna build a super computer, when i get the money and Ultimate it the best.... stupid thing is i was using vista on my comp, but it wouldn't recognise my Router plugged into the USB port... so i re installed Service pack 2
I'm using the RTM build 6000, the latest v. I agree it's stupid xelink , but yeah its microsoft. I wonder if its possible to disable that 'feature'
crap there was a way i did do it though now i cant remeber i think it was somewhere in the admin tools if i remeber ill post
it will be like that for many things for a while. aain the wait and see aproach is ebst, spontaneously upgrading will eb a downgrade for many people. For me, it would probably be both depending on the circumstances, but I'm going with XS OS an OS made by an overclocking as a more efficient version of windows.
