IDIOT INTEL MAKES CORE 2 DUO. I went from a 2.8GHz AMD Opteron 165(equivilent in performance to a $1000 AMD athlon 64 FX 62) to a 3.2GHz. My Core 2 duo is around 40% faster overall. the only things that AMD chips are better at right now, are highly bus/memory centric. That means on the server side, AMD has the better chip, but Core 2 is a far better chip for thigns at home. http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/07/14/cor..._64/page12.html ================= Again, AMD's last gen chip, the athlon XP fared OK against intel's OLD CHIP the pentium 4. THen it's current gen chip, the athlon 64 raped the Pentium 4s. CORE 2 DUO I COMPLETELY DIFERENT ================= again back to the PS3 thing. it's only worth it if you get $600 +$50 per game worth fo fun out of it.
Sorry, but i really didn't understand this.. but from the little i can, far cry vengeance was a pretty recent release.. considering you're a ps3 fan, sayin this about one game is pretty bad, considering most of the ps3's releases were bad. And i need no crystal ball. if ps3 are gonna release another console which is using controls with better graphics (yet again) thats honestly a failure. Screenshot these post, and read them on the day when the new consoles come out, i'm sure you'll be quite suprised.
Off topic: Hahahaahha,this has turned into quite amuzing thread. Yes,Far Cry is totally decent release,except it looks and plays worse than the one on the Xbox in other words only a ----ingly blind Nintendo fanboy would buy that game. PS3 didn't have a great launch titles,but atleast they weren't ports like Wii's games. Resistance,Fight Night Round 3,Ridge Racer 7,Full Auto 2: Battlelines are much better than Wii had to offer(Rayman Raving Rabbids,Zelda 1 billion and that's basicly it). Sixaxis. Tho it's far away from wiimote's capabilities it's still a motion sensing controller. You failed.
zzz. ofcourse i know about the "tilt" controller which the ps3 has, this is nothing like motion sensoring though. ps3 themselves want the whole motion sensoring thing. And tilt controller was already copied from nintendo.. and stop fighting the ps3 and wii. Wii's launch of games dominated ps3's. Games like call of duty 3, red steel etc, weren't that great (although people do like call of duty 3) but alot of the launches were rushed for both consoles. don't expect the best in the first 2 months. But meh, Zelda is GOTY anyway.. sure one game.. all i heard was motorosm and resistance (hate racing, haven't heard too much about resistance).. I ain't failing at anything but you're real ignorant

you wouldnt understand want makes the life span of a 360 to a game on another console, gamerpoints makes the lifespan not the single player life span, oh and what does the gears have unlike both okami and zelda tp? Online providin endless hours of play, and explain how zelda is more orginal than gears, its the same old formula but a new control scheme
Originality? Depends. I find 4 vs 4 max to be really stupid,but everyone has their "gamerpoint". Art style. How can you even compare a bulky steroid freaks to Link the hero of time? Zelda was always focused on puzzles and puzzles Twilight Princess brings. Zelda was never about going loco on locusts or some other alien...things,it was all about puzzles and using your brain. That alone makes it 10x better than a shooter with a duck button. The only thing that GeoW has and Zelda doesn't is the chainsaw.

Exactly. But what really can you add to the franchise as perfect and original as Zelda(besides the wolf transformation)? Nothing,but few tweaks and add-ons here and there. Every Zelda no matter how similiar it looks to others,is still a game for itself and that's what makes it a great franchise. It all depends on the preferences of the player/gamer/guy/dude. You like small number of players? Fine with me.
In my opinion, at the course the PS3 is at, I would go with upgrading your computer. I say this because I know people who work on the PS3, and they say at it currents state, people just get riped off because it sucks right now. I'd say a year or even a few months from now think about it. I REALLY want the PS3, but held out on it, and am about to personally buy myself a new computer. But thats my opinion on it! i guess it really all depends, since i'm a MGS fan i'm already going to buy the ps3 over upgrading my pc. but i mean you should only get the ps3 if it has games that do interest you. if not the upgraded pc isn't bad at all, with time better games will be released on the ps3 so i guess you can leave the ps3 for a year.
Upgrade your computer IMO, there are alot of good games coming out for PC in 2007, im gonna get a brand new computer with top line stuff once I get some more money. PS3 price will prolly go down, just gotta be patient. pc > ps3
