So like, I'm just curious about this small fact -- and sorry if its the wrong section. I was chatting with a non-Gfx person...person, and he vaguely asked me a question I don't understand :]. If you are selling a tag/sig for FRs, why is it that they aren't allowed to layer rip, and make modified changes? Its like selling LRs practically, only thing you could do is change name, or make a tut...But that defeats the point of FRs...>.< So, could someone explain to me it, I am partly confused about it...Thanks. :/
I think it used to be that way, you bought it for full rights, it's yours. But it might have changed. I agree though, if you are paying a high price for it, you should be able to do everything with it except say it's yours. Right?
you cant because it is jsut like ripping a tag and many people will make almost identical tags and mass produce them....thats the reason I THINK not sure tho
But you sold frs o.0 So like, what can u say? Beside u making it, its not urs anymore, right? i would like to see the point of it, almost seems unfair :/
If you buy a tag for full rights, you of course can't claim the work as your own. In ANY circumstances, if you buy a product in real life and its yours, you cant claim you made it. If you layer rip, you could put it into your own signature but you'd have to state you didn't make it, especially for competitions. Otherwise, what would be the point in SOTW? etc
