If Sony ever purely makes a personal computer, will you buy it??? I know that right now SONY is still incapable of designing a PC like IBM, but soon it will. Considering Sony has been maturing in manufacturing gaming consoles and other accesories, I won't be surprised that it has potential to purely make a PC without the aids of other companies. Most of laptops labeled with made by SONY are still designated by other companies, but SONY will soon have that ability to have a purity of designing a PC. Which will be a good news to Japanese.
However, IBM is on a decline I think within the next 5 years, SONY will surpass IBM in designing an ideal laptop
For one I think of Sony as a music and gaming company. They reach out with HD Televisions, DVD players and such but I think computers should be left to the experts (Apple, Hewlett Packard etc). If they do release a desktop PC, I would check it out (Probably a media PC) just to see what they offer. One thing's for sure is that the design would be incredible.
sony allready makes PCs they're called VAIOs. They're also overpriced for what you get and so-so given the expectations they instill in your mind. http://products.sel.sony.com/vaio/
He means SOLELY Sony made, like they make all their own parts, and dont use other companies for their parts and then slap their name on it.
ya i'd buy it but i would say the price range is going to be pretty high considering how they priced the ps3s
