Final Fantasy is not the only good games for the PS3, it's like saying the only reason to get an xbox 360 is Halo which is stupid.
my friend has one, but hes like my brother so i have played it alot. No u cannot play used games, and the games out like resitance are kick ass and to me is the best game i've ever played, and if you want to get one just wait till re release,because i heard u can just walk in and the store will be stocked with them, and plus new games will be out...these new games should be crazy and also by then hopefully all the bugs will be worked out. I think if they make a socom for it, it will be kick ass
someone with a social life who'd rather spend the money on things like going out to eat for lunch, partying etc. also, previews of halo 3 are looking sad, it's nto really that advanced of a game and is just pathetic if you're expecting ti to be as good as the hype. and to the halo fan boys... you can't refute what I just said because the games not out yet.
to buy a ps3 now..in my opinion is not a wise decision...Their are very few killer apps...So far we have resistance and eventually motorstorm....If i were you i would hold off for Lair,Heavenly Sword and other exclusives....Because you wouldnt the ps3 just to play x360 ports and x360 quality graphics...you want a game thats designed for ps3 from the ground up.....But their arent hardly any of those out yet.. In my honest opinon ps3 wont be worth it until later this year when the killer apps come out.. Please dont get a x360..Unless the only games you like are 1st person,3rd person shooters and sports. I love rpgs...and the x360 lacks those....the wii has them but i cant bare the graphics because honestly i think ive seen my nVidia 5500 perform better graphics than the wii Blu-ray will never die,,no matter if they lose the format war..In my opinion blu-ray will win because Sony also makes movies and what format do they always use???hint.(Not HD-DVD) Anyways...as a gamer format war shouldnt matter blu-ray games just means more space... Yes you can play used games...the ps3 isnt smart enough to know whether or not its a used game....
