LOL! This will only help the "credit whores" they already bought them for "cheap" as you said, put this in theyll be selling the credits they just bought for x2 what they did. This will hurt the economy on gamerenders more then help in my opinion.

Basically, it's forcing people to pay for credits at a fixed rate..I think.

Basically you will only be able to BUY credits from a shop bot or something made by admin, and you send money to a paypal and mods or admins will send you credits on payment

Hopefully keeping the price steady to help GR, and to hopefully stop credits being sold at a ridiculous price.

For them that's all graphics is about.

It's a skill + a hobby, i just disagree with people coming on here to make $$$$.

    Back to subject now please.

It's fine if you disagree, i just made a suggestion, no need to get all attitude and stressed.

Thanks everyone who likes the idea. <3

than whats point of credz than? i see no point to them if its not for gaining mny by sellin or buying stuff to make mny off?

by setting a fixed value on credz their will be a lot of ppl leaving theirs already some ppl that left b/c of you cant post and get credz

as i said before sure it'll increase value of it but whats point if the ppl u call "credit whores" dont start sellin and buying stuff? the market and GRs resources will go down

as u can see the market right is still runnin slow b/c of the credit drop and some of the richest members dont post here as much
put this in place those rich member will come sell all their credz and probably profit in mny than i doubt they'd come again b/c of the means to make credz have value is reducing sales in GR

Can you propose another solution to the current problem in GR than? This solution merely increases the value of the credits, people will get used to it just like they have got used to all the other new rules recently implimented on here.
Every single forum I know, encounters this problem. When a new rule gets impliment, the users complain, without proposing another solution. It's easier to point out flaws than to come up with a solution.
Let me give you an example without going too off topic. Do you know how much comotion there was with the new word filters? People were complaining that everybody would leave, and that Gamerenders wouldn't be the same as it once was. Well, how about if I told you that Gamerenders reached its peak of most members online just a little over a month ago? I'd say that is fairly recent.

@ EBK - This rule benefits you. We are trying to push the staff to impliment a rule that the credits stay at a fixed value of 200 credits per $1 US; rather than the fluctuating rate that it is at. This way, people are actually able to sell their credits. I don't see another way, if things pick up, the credit will just continue to drop in value even more; that's similar to a depression where nobody would want to keep credits on their account, because they will have no value.
Before that happens, the staff need to impliment this rule; at least for a "test trial."

@ Godx - Credits are merely the forums currency. You are stating that credits serve no purpose if you can't make any money off of them? That isn't what this topic is about. We are trying to push for a set rate to be established to ensure people are able to actually sell their credits at a fair rate, rather than be forced to experience competition and sell at dirt cheap prices. Once this rule is implimented I am MORE THAN SURE, that the staff will put back the posting for credits feature, it wouldn't result in people leaving more. More people will want to come, knowing that the credit has increased in value, and that they can actually make decent money from it. I really don't see your point.

@ HaDoUKeN246 - Correct. It is to force members to purchase credits at a fixed rate to ensure that the credit rate does not continue to depreciate in value.

I hope that this happens, because then all of the "money-hungry GR haters who come to this place just to get credits and sell them and then goto other site's and call GR gay" 'ers would leave.

That would be alot of people.

Was on another site and some "highest rated" person said something like this.

"Your dumb if you go to Gamerenders to get better, only reason I go there is to sell my psds to idiots for confidence and then sell the credits for money. We made over 230 dollars doing this ".

No idea why I said this but I though it was hilarious. Anyways it wont really effect them, most of those people can sell signatures for 2k+ anyways. I've talked to some people who say they just take 5 minutes on a signature and still sell it for 1.5k

    Merged Post:

Not really. I just don't like this idea at all.

I'm just saying if this is put in it will be mad rush to sell credits. Since this is getting good feedback, I'll probably go buy some credits and sell them x2. People who have like 50k credits have it made also.

I have read everything, and I am still not sure I understand it all. Is the basic idea that to fix the credit problem Gamerender will sell creds at a fixed price. If thats it then I though gamerenders problem was the creds were inflated. If so then why would we sell em, would that make inflation rise.

I really like this idea. By forcing creds to be a set price you actually INCREASE the desire to have creds. However, this won't get rid of credit whores nor will it discourage them. If anything this will increase the amount of them around. If credits were worth something again (and at a set price lets point out that post-per-cred could return) then people would want them even more.
Personally I cant see any down side to this, other then those that already have large amounts of creds are laughing. But there is nothing you can do about that so no point complaining...
