    Hi there!

We all know overclocking is a fun and daredevil-ish feat... but

Are you tired of searching through countless websites looking for a good guide on how to overclock your CPU?

Are you fed up with your old P4 and want to squeeze every last bit of performance out of it?

Have you bought a new E6600 and want it get it to 3.2Ghz?

    Then look no further!

I will teach you how to overclock your CPU, how to prepare for it etc. I will even walk you through the process if necessary!

    All for 30 credits!

To avoid dissapointment, regarding overclocking AMD CPU's, I can't WALK you through the process as well as I do with Intel CPU's (I dont own one). But the idea is basically the same. Therefore, I will still teach you how to tweak your AMD chip but I am not prepared to take any important decisions for you. If you have an AMD chip, we can work out a lower price due to these circumstances.

PM me and I'll add you!

Of Course. Go to that website and learn all that you need. But if you ever need any 1-on-1 help with an experienced overclocker, this is for you.

Also, it is easier to learn from someone else, not a website.

And - will that website WALK you through the process and take all the vital decisions for you? Will it automatically detect ur CPU and MOBO and generate an overclocking plan?

    You decide.

please, please tell me how to get my e6400 to 4GHz, I get an FSB wall at 440 and the only thing I can think of to fix it would be a bit more vMCH and vNB, but I don't want to volt mode until i replaces the NB HSF

drive strengths are set to the highest settings and nothing changes and I've disabled most of everything within the BIOS. From what I understand, the 975X chipset world record on the 1066 strap is 480 under single stage cascade

    I WANT 500

k, I was joking(I run 400FSB 24/7 and am happy with that), but to be honest, I'd raise the price, 20 creds isn't worth the hassle of going in depth and explaining it to someone 1:1, people are just hopeless.

40-50creds would probably be a better price.

it puts your clocks over stock.
    hence the term, overclock

in short if you set a 2GHz processor on a 200mhz bus to 3GHz on a 300mhz bus, you will have overclocked bother the processor and the system bus by 50%

I have my E6600 at an FSB of 400Mhz - which is a total clock of 3.6Ghz - a 900mHZ overclock. I have overvolted my MCH and NB by 0.1V each. I have air cooling.

@xelink: thanks for the suggestion, i will raise the price according to how many customers I get!

So, who would like to be my first customer? 20 creds!

    I beleive you mean a 1.2GHz overclock...

more than I got(albiet not by much and percentage wise its the same). I have a mere 1.06GHz, albiet I'm using a 975X board and those don't ram as high as 965.

    what vcore? I'm at 1.264V for 3.2GHz on an e6400 under a scythe infinity. I'm guessing you're around 1.4V

    To be exact:

Im at 1.35V and Mem timings of 5-5-5-12 (i had to loosen from 4-4-4-12 to achieve this overclock)

    suicide of 24/7?

most RAM chips with micron D9 should be able to do 4-4-4-X to around 450-500mhz with 2.0-2.3V fairly easily. Right now I'm at 400mhz 4-4-3-8 2.05V, though I can get 4-3-3-8 with 2.25, i can't get CAS down, which is apparently a quirk with my board.

and you've got a good chip, 3.7 at 1.35V is good.

check our superpi thread, you shoudl take first...

damn you and your l2 cache.

I have a low end OCZ budget RAM. Im thinking about getting a pair of nVidia gaming RAM to loosen my timings up.

And BTW, my bigger L2 cache only improves performance about 5% (assuming the clock speeds are the same)

super pi isn't a real world application, it's a synthetic benchmark which is very sensative to memory bandwidth.

and average real world performance ranges between 0-10% with a majority of thigns having a3% performance boost.

as for budget RAM, that's why you check the ICs. I got my 2Gb kit for 160 a little bit back. They're hitting 400mhz 4-3-3-8 with 2.2V(again I can't get 3 CAS at decent FSB do to a motherboard quirk)

and nwo with all ado i shall leave you to your thread, you seem to knwo what you're doing and the first person tog et it for 20 creds will be making out like a theif.
