Credit Suggestion

Cool.

Everyone else likes it so far, your input won't exactly help, why would you want to sell credits so low?

This benefits nearly all members, plus Game Renders.

Because it helps when I need money in a pinch plus, you can get good deals when others need money too.

Doesn't really benefit anyone in my opinion. Even if someone has say 50k credits, no one is going to give * Don't know the exact price so I'll make it up * 230 dollars for credits. I've seen people go for days trying to sell 10k.
Plus people just like to be nice at times and sell low.

 

Theres MSN + PM system for friends in need if you wanted to sell cheaper.

Credits will be sold etc for maybe the $5 per 1000 Credits..

But still people will sell for less via PM's etc.

 

why the ---- would somebody sell them for less

Because of competition; but if competition is eliminated, it will help Gamerenders restore its original value of the credit.
If a majority of the people in GR start selling their credits at a rate of 200:1, other people will do so as well; because most people want the most out of their credits. (I would hope so.)
Despite the fact that their might still be SOME people selling credits for cheaper via MSN or any other instant messenger, implimenting a rule similar to this will still help.
Besides, if you make a rule for getting caught selling it at a cheaper rate than the 200:1 ratio, it will furthur prevent people from selling it cheaper. Possibly a hefty fine as well.

 

Sounds to me like you had some credits you wanted to sell but didn't get a good price. Obviously people are making good money off credits and still selling them at a good price * Tolan, Tazzy *

I've sold credits for a good ratio along with others, plus if people can sell through pm this idea is completely useless in my opinion. Everyone * I know I would/will * would only sell through pm.

I've gotten deals where if you bin for X amount of dollars you get X tags fr or whatever, just nice people who still get a fair amount of money.

 

I agree with this idea, instead of having constant competition you just have one set amoutn with the 200:$1 Ratio. Nice idea Anthony.

It's not so much a problem for me now, but it has been in the past trying to sell my credits. I was pretty dissapointed when the only rate I was able to sell my credits to was 250:1, which is even hard to sell now! The credit just keeps dropping and dropping, in a couple of months, at the rate it is dropping at, it will be selling at the 350:1 ratio. Obviously there are still too many in the system. For the people who think they are helping Gamerenders by selling their credits cheaper, they really aren't. As a matter of fact, they are doing more harm than good if you think about it; considering the amount of time staff are spending trying to eliminate credits from the system. Really, this idea should be impliment; eliminate the "PM offer" idea, a rule that states: "You may only sell your credits at the 200:1 ratio." Warns/Suspensions can be given if sold at a cheaper or more expensive rate regardless of where you are selling it. At first, nobody will buy credits, but as time progresses, things will pick up; and the original rate will be restored.

 

I can tell you now I would leave Gamerenders if this happens, talked to some other people too and said the same thing. What are we becoming robots selling everything at X price no higher no lower. Really where the hell have you seen this in Real life even? All PS3s arent the same price, some places sell lets say Pepsi for a less amount then the other store.

This idea is just dumb in my opinion . Really hasnt hurt me at all so far Ive made money off credits.

 

i dont have a problem since im not one of those ppl that sell my credz but im pretty sure ur gonna lose some very important members if this happens, GR is a market a market shouldnt have a fixed priced

as im sure uve notice site activity has gone down imo ever since credz were taken out by posting

sure this will keep credz value staying the same but it'll also make u lose some very active members that make the marketing in GR which im sure u dont want happening

Well, .Rage. you saying members will leave? The only ones who will leave are maybe only the credit whores.

Many people come here to learn, alot of people do it just to gain credits for $$$ in my opininon.

 

yeh credit whores but those credit whores are ppl that make the most credz and their the ones mainly sellin stuff to gain credz

and by losing those ppl that market will slow down which im sure u dont want happening since these credit whores are ppl that are giving/sellin these resources that'll help u in gfx makin

 

I think you'll find the people with hardly anything give more out than the ones with 60k 50k 40k credits.

Gac is the only one i know with alot of credits who gives out.
