Hey guys, purchased a new computer recently and I still have my old one. My other computer, was a custom built PC and it has a certain graphics card that I purchashed 2 years ago. My new computer, has a newer graphics card. Wondering which is one is best, or has a higher value. Responses are appreciated, looking for a couple of replies, as I suppose this question can be asnwered differently by people. Telling me why a certain graphics card is appreciated as well! The 2 graphics cards are: NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE (Newer computer has this one.) ALL-IN-WONDER 9000 (Older computer has this one.) Just a quick question, thanks for your time.
the newer computer has the better card IMO, but timewise im pretty sure they are close, ATI hasnt made and all in wonder card for a while (when they where hot thats all my dad put in comps so im pretty familiar with them). also all in wonders can be an absolute B#@ch to setup properly so i wouldnt recomend swaping it from an older comp to a newer one. hope i helped ya
both are absolute ----. in most scenarios, the 6150 will outperform by a moderate margin, though it depends in part on the memory used in the computer, and the system bus.
The Nvidia chips have done wonders for me in the past. I think the Nvidia is the one to stick with. Many games can be maxed out to full settings, and you can enjoy them not just for the gameplay but for the amazing graphics! So Nividia..Then again, I'm not John or Xelink. But also, you probably know this, but if you end up switching video cards. go into safe mode on your computer before you load up. The nivida drivers overwrite ---- very easily. So DL the drivers and install in safe mode. ^^ I learned this the hard way.
nvidia makes a decent chip, but ATi is still a decent competetor. the x1900XTX had it's strogn points over the 7950GX2 and that cannot be neglected. it's not that the 9000 is an ATI product, it's that it's really old. based off of the 7000 series mostly if I'm not mistaken. 6150 is a piece of crap it's anything like my onboard 6100 or my PCI 6200 but the 9000 is just a failure. I had a radeon 9250 and it was so-so but the 9000 just blows.
Yeah, I figured so. I'll stick with the NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE, since I bought a pre-made computer and I don't want to hassle with purchasing a new graphics card or swithing them around. Thanks for all of your guys help! Appreciate it.
