GFX card is so-so(atleast for the cost ATis x1600 series is a joke) and the CPU is only 2.13GHz and that won't be changing.

most Core 2 dups are able to run at 3-3.8GHz
    http://www.tweaknews.net/reviews/x1650pro/index6.php

    you got ripped.

and to darkstar, DFI makes fairly good motherbaords, they're certainely solid and the BIOSes on them are updated a fair amount and seem rather good on the whole. The DFI infinity 975X/G was going for liek 130USD for a while. Those motherbaords(I have on) can hit to around 430-440FSB without mods on stock cooling. With mods and some better cooling, 450 is possible.

And that's on a 1066mhz strap. the second revision of the board when released will have a 1333mhz strap which means that 500-550mhz isn't unreasonable.

only bad thing is that the boards up to 160 now...

as for RD600, it's apparently overhyped and underdelviered BUT IT STILL KICKS ASS. The end. Also, 975X chipsets can deliver 2x PCI-e 8x and 1 PCI-e 4X too FYI, my infinity does at the least albiet the 4x is only 4x physical.
