Well, I have an Xbox(regular) and my PC, as well as gamecube.. woopy. Ive had some left over cash from the holidays that Id like to spend getting a video game and F.E.A.R Is one that looked very Interesting to me. Id like to get It for PC, for, Its cheaper, and the online play Is free (so my buddy told me...) Though I'm worried about It lagging my computer to the point of not even being able to play. I run Windows XP, and have a Geforce 5200 graphics card, with a decent amount of RAM. I just barely meet minimum requirements, with a few being right below. I'm wondering If anyone has this game, with a slower computer, does It work well, Id like to hear your story, before I go out and buy this, or think about buying It. A few other games: Ive also been thinking for my Xbox, getting Black, Fable or Call Of Duty 3, any Tips, suggestions, stories, anything on the games and why u liked or disliked them would be great, trying to make a decision, so far Call of Duty and Black are winning me on my Xbox. it will run slow imo, I have a 7600GS and a athlon x2 4400+ and it still kinda slow on some of the scenes. Call of Duty 3 is worth getting, I have CoD 2 and it rawks, if you're into WW2 style of FPS then definitely buy this
Awesome, yeah I ran specs on my comp, and even my Halo 1 Is running slow (just put XP on my comp, so Its shot) I'm thinning I'm ganna go for Call of Duty 3 and Black for Xbox, then some used game at gamestop... Since all Ive got for my Xbox Is Halo 2, I figure, now that games are cheap, Ill expand :lol: :lol:
Yeah, i was reading in a magazine and FEAR is one of the most graphic intensive games..They used an Nvidia7900 and couldnt run high settings. I have Black and its prolly one of the best looking games for xbox..and the enviroments are destructable
i hvae cod2 and 3 there both pretty awesome but the 3rd one is a bit harder im still stuck on this one level lol
Its my older card, cant help it anymore, just got It replaced from the fan melting onto It, lmao. I do have one last Q, Call of Duty, which one (1 or 2), Is the Simulation of everyone being dropped at the beach? Thats by far the best game setting, Ive placed It once, but I don't remember which one It was... I do thank you for the advice on F.E.A.R, If I ever get my computer updated to a faster speed then Ill definitely have to check It out. I guess I'm heading towards call of duty and Black, w00t!

yehh. i've got a 5200fx running in my comp, and it can't even run hl2 properly :censored: for your xbox, i dunno about getting black. i've got it for ps2(i don't know if the story is the same for xbox but i should be) and i didn't really like it. i loved all the destroying the environment thing but that was it. call of duty 3 is pretty good, i tried the demo, and it was really fun. can't say anything about fable cause i don't have a xbox lol.
