I have an asus P5B mobo. Everything is setup correctly. The motherboard is known to be very picky about the RAM that is in it, so to be on the safeside i bought KVR800d2n5/512 which is on hte QVL in the manual for the MOBO itself. When I turn the PC on, everything runs as expected, except there is an error of "no video" on the monitor, prior to it entering sleep mode. It's so frustrating, I can't update the bios because I can't get any video. The video card isn't to blame it works just fine in my friends computer. any ideas?

Ive been through 3 different brands so far, and this one is recommended on the QVL in the manual. I have 2 KVR800d2n5/512 and i have tried booting with 1, 2, 1 in differnet slots. Nothing works
