Out of curiosity. Why are people selling credits for so low? We have taken quite a bit of credits out of circulation, thus making them worth more then they had been, but for some reason, people keep selling credits for lower and lower prices, and im curious as to why? It defies the rules of supply and demand, so im wondering where the reasoning behind it is.
Because everyone thinks prices are gonna go down and trying to beat all the deals as they have alot of credits to sell.
Cos they'res more and more shops sellign credits now, and if they cant beat their competitors, no buisness.
Yeah, everybody is trying to out price the rest... Without any way of making credits, except selling, buying is the only way, so alot of people are buying credits.. Which results in really low prices I mean, 1 year ago, I had to pay 5$ for 1000 credits.. Now I bought 2550 for 10$
Tells you how much the prices of things gone up by Ye true competition can drive prices down DarkStar
Because they are not understanding what they are doing, is typically the reason. But, it takes time to kick in for "demand". When you shrink the supply, there is still an excess, and the demand is there. But overtime, the supply, as you stated, is going down, but demand will continue to either stay the same, or rise. So in about a month or so, if you continue doing what you usually do, what YOU want to happen, will happen.
I think the prices will shoot up again eventually but until we have all the credits needed out of the system i dont think that will happen just yet. Some sell for cheap to help others out, i mean if i could sell alot of my stuff for credits i would sell them for cheap also, i mean..you got paid for a piece of art, you get alot of credits, you then sell those credits for real cash which is pretty damn awesome in my opinion
Make a rule simple. Not allowed to sell under the current value of credits. x credits : x dollars/euros/pounds whatever.
one of two things.... 1. it's the holidays and they are super giving or 2. trying to get into heaven....idk
Read my signature Logically, it's been up there for a while; as I am definetly wondering the same thing you are. Obviously, the recent scam definetly played a major role in the aditional depreciation of the credit; as many members were able to purchase credits at an extraordinarily low rate. (20k for $20) Hopefully, it will increase again, at least back to the 250:1 rate. I've seen many people sell it at the 300:1 ratio now! You aren't neccessarily helping the community, you are somewhat making it worse. Gamerender's currency is in credits, by people selling it for low prices, you are forcing other competitors to lower their prices as well, hence making the credit somewhat worthless. Now tell me, how does that help Gamerenders? If a rule is implemented that you MUST sell credits at either the 250:1 ratio OR 200:1 ratio, there would definetly be many people selling credits under the table at a BETTER ratio; would be too hard to monitor and would add on to the staff's work.
We'll I can understand selling a little cheaper if you need the money......Most rates are pretty accurate they do a few "special" bins to sell there credits faster. Like for the people who don't by full rights/learning rights/ don't really buy anything just sell.
People wont pay me for what my credits are worth, so im just holding onto them for now. Its cuz retarted people sell them for less, so everybody figures mine are overpriced. Whenever i made a thread to sell them, people are just like why? Tazzy corner can get it to me for way cheaper. I hate that so much.
