no...after your accepted, unless ur parents are well off financially, getting your paper work done to get money from gov., state, etc. that kind of stuff is just a headache causer, imo.

Ya it sucks. Ill have no problems getting into university, but paying for it is gonna be a bitch.

Scholarships will only pay for 2 years for me ($10 000), for the reminaing 3-8 years I have to work and rely on Student Loans.

They need to bring down these costs. Free education is great, but it only lasts up till Grade 12. I'll even have to stay local and live at home to save 5 grand a year

forget the poor children going to school, they need the loans for food. they dont even have enough for food let alone school.

and at the school thing, i think top noch universities should be at least affordable, because the prices are way too high. high enough for middle class kids to be denied

not to sound toooo heartless....but im pretty sure there are plenty of organizations that help the people in Africa. In my opinion, I think organizations should worry about their country then focus on others.

well do you qualify for gov. grants. cause if you do, it is real simple to get money. go to fafsa and fill out the form. unless you already have done it. i do it every year online and am able to pay all my college expenses. ofcourse it also depends what uni. you want to attend. the one i go to does not cost that much even though tuition is raised a certain percentage every semester....

it wasn't so much the fafsa as much as it was the university not telling me what i needed to finish or how to fix my fafsa, but it is also me not knowing what is good and how to do certain aspects of the paper work. Maybe there should be a organization or someone that can help around here...but i am good to go now...i was mainly pointing out how getting accepted is ALOT easier than getting it paid for.

College kinda seems like a massive gaping black hole that sucks all of your parents cash into it.
